Sydney Angels was launched in 2008 to bring investors and entrepreneurs together, by several associates of the Australian Association of Angel Investors.
This not-for-profit organisation supports and encourages the development of formal angel investment groups Australia-wide.
Sydney Angels offers membership to sophisticated investors seeking quality early-stage deals, and the support of fellow angel investors in an organised investment group.

Sydney Angels offers early stage businesses the opportunity to attract investment and time from experienced professionals. Deals are subject to a disciplined screening process. Those assessed as suitable are invited to present at a Sydney Angels members-only meeting.
Guidelines on investment criteria:
• Businesses seeking $100k-$1m equity capital
• Angel investors expect >10% equity
• Deals that are fresh and have not been shopped all over town.
