Sydney Angels has been operating since October 2008 and to date has made a significant contribution to growing and supporting all of the stakeholders in Sydney’s early stage eco-system. Since forming Sydney Angels members have invested $5.5 million in 10 exciting Sydney based enterprises (see portfolio) and have helped secure an additional 10 million of Angel Investment Funding, to be invested over the next 5 years, through the Sydney Angels Side Car Fund.

On top of providing a pathway to funding, Sydney Angels has been active in building a sustainable investment group and supporting the eco-system. Investing in the members’ investment skills including entrepreneur relationships skills along with educating entrepreneurs on what is required to present an investible proposition is a key focus of the group. Sydney Angels regularly participates in entrepreneur events and hosts angel investment workshops to achieve these ends.
